Battle of the Books

I am not usually competitive but when it comes to my kids I can become a little intense. Avery and her friends Sari and Sammi are a team in the schools Battle of the Books competition. They had their first competition of the year. They were great!! They were the only team (including a team of teachers) to answer every question correctly and win the battle. I was so proud of them and of Avery who is an amazing reader.

It was a Happy Halloween for Thomas the Train, the Crazy Moto Cross Rider, and a Beautiful Pink Lady!

6th Grade Science Camp

Avery and Mom had the great opportunity to go to 6th grade Science Camp. It was in a beautiful cool mountain area of Prescott. Avery got to do so many fun activities and Mom got to meet all of her new friends and see what an amazing daughter she has. Although Avery wasn't feeling well she was awesome the entire time.

Quick Cali Trip

The beach was calling to us so we headed to Cali for a quick and spontaneous trip. We spent time in La Jolla at the beach, shopped and just relaxed. So nice!
